Sammie Ng graduated from the Hong Kong Academy of Fine Arts in Hong Kong and emigrated to Canada in 1998.

Drawing a contemporary feeling into her subject matter, she has created a mystical and dreamy world of flowers. With her poetic temperament, she searches for a dream state in which flowers, light and colours reveal themselves through a romantic mood.

Sammie Ng’s work is found in corporate and private collections in Canada and Hong Kong. Sammie is a Canadian citizen residing with her artist husband, Stephen Cheng, in Port Moody, British Columbia.
