Born and raised in the Vancouver area, there hasn’t been a time in this artist’s life when she didn’t love to draw and paint. At a very early age, she received a scholarship for one year of art lessons and she hasn’t looked back.
Since being married, raising a family and moving to Kamloops in 1993, Debbie Milner has again pursued her art career. She has been largely a self-taught artist and has successfully had work juried into several shows including the OMRAC in Kamloops.
Debbie is rapidly gaining recognition for the portraits she loves to paint in watercolour, acrylic and oils. She has an ability to capture the innocence of children in these portraits. Debbie frequently teaches art in the Kamloops region. “Art for me is a creative release allowing me to share with others the beauty of God’s creations” says Debbie Milner.
