Marc Galipeau was born in St. Jean Richelieu, near Montreal, Quebec and is a self-taught artist,  He has a bachelor’s degree in teaching and taught for seven years.  He then decided to become involved in computer arts which brought him closer to visual arts.

 

Marc worked as a graphic artist until 2005 when he decided to devote himself to painting full time, fulfilling a childhood dream.  His works feature bold and vivid colours and flowing lines evoking themes of dance and music.   

 

Galipeau has had showings at several exhibitions and galleries around Quebec.  He displayed his works at the Exposition Provence in France and was among a group of artists that exhibited at the Louvre in Paris in 2006.
