About The Artist

 Madison Hart began her professional career in 1993 after receiving an Award of Excellence from the BC Festival of the Arts.  Born in Calgary, Alberta  and a self-taught artist, Madison�s passion for creating and designing cottage gardens is evident in her work.  Her paintings are like her garden�you can walk through time after time and there�s always something new to discover.  �Planting a garden is like painting a picture; the soil is my canvas and the plants are my paint.  Both allow me to express the deepest part of myself without revealing too much too soon�. 

 Madison�s work hangs in numerous galleries and in corporate collections.  Her fabric paintings were licensed to Daydreams and Wyman & Son for calendars distributed throughout Canada and the USA in 1999 and 2001.  Her paintings have been published in several magazines including Magazin�Art, Canadian Living and Country Sampler as well as the covers of CDs.
