About The Artist

John Schnurrenberger grew up in Switzerland with an admiration for cowboys and a love of horses. After attending art school in Lucerne, he moved to Canada to live and paint the cowboy life. Today, he is a full-time artist who still paints cowboys on the ranches in the interior of British Columbia every chance he gets. 

The integrity of John's artwork is appreciated by those who live the cowboy life, as he has an eye for authenticity and the personal experience for accuracy. Ranchers, rodeo cowboys, business people and other art lovers have been collecting his work for years.
