Leif Ostlund was born in Prince George, British Columbia, and has been painting for more than three decades.His mother and his uncle, both accomplished artists ,provided him with a rich informal training.

 He graduated with honours and two scholarships from the Ontario College of Art in Toronto.

Leif’s paintings add life to a space, using bold colours and soft, yet energetic brush strokes.

 His vigorous brush work add a luminous palette that give his paintings a striking appearance.

Ostlund had an international following and his works hang in private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States and in Europe.
